WHO ARE WE?

La Vérendrye Canoe-Camping was formed in 1993 as the result of a partnership between the Fédération québécoise du canot et du kayak and Société des établissements de plein air du Québec (Sépaq). The aim is to offer users a warm welcome, professional service and up-to-date information on the various canoe routes available within a well-maintained, well-marked waterway system of more than 800 km.

La Vérendrye Wildlife Reserve straddles the regions of Outaouais and Abitibi-Témiscamingue, with their vast stretches of wilderness and countless bodies of water. Whether you enjoy canoe-camping, sea kayaking or whitewater canoeing, you’re sure to find a circuit that’s perfect for you.

To give you a taste of what you’ll experience in this vast untamed territory of 13,615 sq. km., and to help you plan your next trip, we offer here some 20 lake and river circuits.
