Canot Camping La Vérendrye was founded in 1993 as the result of a partnership between the Fédération québécoise du canot et du kayak and Société des établissements de plein air du Québec (Sépaq). Our goal is to offer users a warm welcome, professional service and up-to-date information on the various canoe routes available within a well-maintained, well-marked waterway system of more than 800 km.
La Vérendrye Wildlife Reserve straddles the regions of Outaouais and Abitibi-Témiscamingue, known for their vast stretches of wilderness and countless bodies of water. Whether you enjoy canoe-camping, sea kayaking or whitewater canoeing, you’re sure to find a circuit that’s perfect for you.
To give you an idea of what you’ll experience in this vast untamed territory
of 13,615 sq. km., and to help you plan your next trip, we offer here the description of our 20 lake and river circuits.
For more information, we invite you to obtain a copy of the general map of
La Verendrye Wildlife Reserve, which provides an overview of all the circuits available.
We would be delighted to welcome you at our main office in "Le Domaine".
We are always available in summer time between 8 am to 8 pm, to assist in planning your next expedition.
